Proofhound Privacy Policy (v2026-09-20)

What we collect. Proofhound stores your protocol, dose logs, check-ins and settings on your device. We do not require an account and do not collect your name, email or health records on our servers.

AI assistant. When you send a message to the assistant, the text of that message and recent chat context are sent to our server and then to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a reply. We do not send your dose logs or check-ins unless you paste them into a message. Do not include information you consider sensitive. Our provider's data handling is described in its own policy.

Purchases. The one-time unlock is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Apple handles the payment and keeps the record of it; we never see your payment details, and we do not use a third-party purchase or analytics service, so no purchase data reaches our servers. The app stores a single yes/no flag on your device saying whether it is unlocked, and re-checks that against the App Store.

Analytics. We do not use third-party analytics.

Notifications. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. We do not send marketing notifications.

Health data. Proofhound does not read from or write to Apple Health.

Sharing and selling. We do not sell personal data and do not share it with advertisers.

Your choices. You can delete all data from the Me tab at any time; this erases everything stored on the device. Uninstalling the app also removes it.

Children. Proofhound is for adults 18 and older.

Regions. If you are in California or the EU/UK, you have rights to access, correct and delete data. Because data lives on your device, you exercise these rights through the app's Delete all data control. For anything else, contact support@proofhound.io.

Changes. We will update this policy in the app when practices change.
