Proofhound Terms of Use (v2026-09-20)

1. What Proofhound is. Proofhound is an educational reference and personal logging tool about peptides and related compounds. It provides general information, unit-conversion math, reminders and a place to keep your own records.

2. Not medical advice. Proofhound is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. No clinician-patient relationship is created by using it. Content is for general educational purposes only. Always consult a licensed healthcare professional before starting, stopping or changing the use of any substance.

3. No recommendations. Proofhound does not recommend, endorse or encourage the use of any compound. Any amounts displayed are either numbers you entered or reference values drawn from published literature and public discussion, shown for context only.

4. Regulatory status. Many compounds described in Proofhound are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for any use, have limited or no human safety data, and may be illegal to sell for human use in your jurisdiction. Some are prohibited by the World Anti-Doping Agency. You are responsible for knowing and following the laws that apply to you.

5. No sales. Proofhound does not sell, supply, source, or link to any compound and receives no compensation from any vendor.

6. Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for any decision you make and any action you take. You assume all risk arising from your use of the app and any substance.

7. Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old.

8. AI assistant. The assistant generates responses automatically from a language model. It may be inaccurate or incomplete and cannot account for your personal circumstances. Do not rely on it for medical decisions.

9. Accuracy. We work to keep information current but make no warranty that it is accurate, complete or up to date. Calculations depend entirely on the values you enter.

10. Disclaimer of warranties. The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

11. Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Proofhound and its creators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any personal injury, arising from your use of the app or reliance on its content.

12. Indemnity. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Proofhound and its creators from claims arising from your use of the app or violation of these terms.

13. Changes. We may update these terms. Continued use after an update is acceptance.

14. Purchases. Proofhound offers a single one-time purchase that unlocks additional recording features. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Payment is processed by Apple under Apple's terms; refunds are handled by Apple. The purchase changes which features are available and does not change the nature of the Service as described in sections 1 through 3.

15. Governing law and disputes. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Flathead County, Montana, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
